Keto Chocolate Mug Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp low-carb sweetener
  • 2 tsp coconut flour
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Melt Butter: In a microwave-safe mug, melt the butter in the microwave until mostly melted and hot.
  2. Add Sweetener: Stir the low-carb sweetener into the melted butter.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: Add cocoa powder, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add Egg: Stir in the egg until the batter is well combined.
  5. Microwave: Microwave the mug cake on high for 60-75 seconds, or until set and cooked through.
  6. Serve: Enjoy your mug cake as is, or top with whipped cream and a few berries if desired.
