Gluten-Free Roasted Spiced Chickpeas

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Dry Chickpeas (200g)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Soak the dry chickpeas overnight in water.
  2. The next day, preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the soaked chickpeas.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the chickpeas with lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, cumin powder, and curry powder, using your hands to ensure they are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the spiced chickpeas on the prepared baking tray in a single layer.
  6. Roast the chickpeas for 40-45 minutes, turning them frequently to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy.
