Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies

INGREDIENTS

  • 120g Bin Inn Gluten Free Flour Mix
  • 100g butter, melted
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp Bin Inn Gluten Free Baking Powder
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts or macadamia nuts (optional)
  • 150g sugar
  • Gluten-free icing sugar, for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20cm tin with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the melted butter, vanilla essence, cocoa powder, eggs, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Sift in the flour mix and baking powder. Add the chopped walnuts or macadamia nuts and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20–30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Allow to cool in the tin before cutting into squares.
  7. Dust with icing sugar before serving. Enjoy!
