DIY Bath Bombs 🛁

 Bin Inn Bath Bomb

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups baking soda
  • 1 cup cornflour (cornstarch)
  • ¾ cup citric acid
  • 3 tsp water
  • 2 tsp essential oil (optional, for scent)
  • 3 ½ tsp melted coconut oil
  • 1–2 drops food colouring (optional)
  • ½ tsp extra melted coconut oil (for greasing)
  • A bowl for mixing
  • Moulds (muffin tins, ice trays, or silicone moulds)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: baking soda, corn flour, and citric acid. Mix until there are no lumps.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients: water, essential oil, and melted coconut oil.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. The mixture will seem dry but should hold together when squeezed.
  4. Using the extra melted coconut oil, grease your chosen mould (muffin tins or ice trays work well).
  5. Fill the mould with the mixture, packing it down firmly.
  6. Leave the filled moulds out overnight or for at least 8 hours to allow the bath bombs to set.
  7. Once set, carefully remove the bath bombs from the moulds.

Your bath bombs are now ready to use! Enjoy a relaxing soak!
