Established in the early 1990’s, Warkworth Bin Inn has been a focal point for the Mahurangi community for over 30 years. It has evolved into a wholefoods and speciality grocery outlet but hasn’t forgotten its roots encouraging you to “buy as much as you need and use what you buy”, saving you money and reducing food waste through sustainable shopping practices.
The current owners are Jill Gabriel and Nigel Harris and you will see Jill in the shop on most days behind the counter. She truly values her customers and offers the kind of service that was once the hallmark of the local general store. Her store is open, airy, and clean offering a delightful shopping experience for a wide variety of household staples and treats not available in mainstream stores. Here you will find not only quality wholefoods and international products including Biltong, but also health and wellbeing products, specialty dietary items, cleaning and laundry products and home brewing supplies to name a few.
The team, led by Sophie, is always welcoming and ready to help, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for every customer who walks through the door.
